Date night with my love at Red Lobster
Three months in to 2018 and life seems more hectic than ever. Being busy and stressed can definitely take a strain on life at home, especially when we both work from home. Two weeks ago we both looked at each other and realized we hadn’t had a date night in over a month, which is pretty unheard of for us. We try and make it a point weekly to go out for a yummy dinner and enjoy each others company. Not lately though. We decided it was time to break out of our crazy schedules and have a date night. This wasn’t just “another date night” though. This was us starting a new routine. It’s so easy to let life’s craziness takeover and make you feel like you don’t have time to do what you love or spend time with who you love. “One more photo shoot, or one more blog post then you can make time”. That has been the voice in my head these last three months. That all changed though, thank god.
Date night & Lobsterfest = a win,win
Red Lobster’s Lobsterfest, the ultimate celebration of everything lobster, is back! For a limited time, guests are invited to explore the largest variety of lobster dishes offered all year. We were definitely ready to feast when it came to date night!
To say our mouths were watering when our dishes arrived, would be an understatement. The Dueling Lobster Tails™ was everything I wanted and more. It comes with two Maine lobster tails with one steamed in parchment paper with fresh herbs, tomatoes and lemon, and other is a grilled Maine lobster tail topped with shrimp, bay scallops and roasted bell peppers in a rich sherry lobster cream. Drool worthy to say the least.
What’s amazing about Red Lobster is that all of the seafood served at Red Lobster is sourced in a manner that is Traceable, Sustainable and Responsible to ensure that a healthy seafood supply exists now and for generations. You can learn more about how and where Red Lobster sources its Lobster here.

Along with our main courses we start out with the Chilled Lobster and Shrimp Cocktail! Nothing like Chilled split petite Maine lobster tails and jumbo shrimp served with Red Lobster’s signature cocktail sauce to start out a meal! Big thanks to Jasmine our server for the recommendation. If you get a chance to visit the Times Square Red Lobster location in New York I highly recommend it!
I’m usually not one for rum punch but the Lobster Lover’s Punch is a must! With Captain Morgan®, Bacardi® and Malibu® rum, shaken with berry and pineapple juice it’s the perfect way to say cheers to date night! What’s even better? It’s served in a 50th Anniversary collectible glass that you get to keep! It’s also available for purchase if you’re not up for a cocktail!
Cheers to Lobsterfest!
