Create & Cultivate Atlanta was so inspiring and I’m so glad I was able to experience it!
Attending Create & Cultivate was exactly what I needed to reignite my passion and energy towards my blog. With all of the traveling these past few months I haven’t felt super inspired and driven to focus on my blog full time. After this weekend though, I am ready to go full tilt! Being in a room with so many women struggling with the same issues and still going after their dreams made me accept the meltdowns I’ve had. As fun as blogging is it can be extremely stressful juggling work, the blog, family, our three dogs, and finding time to wash my hair, let alone social media.
The struggle is real, but so is the hustle.
I was so nervous and excited when I arrived at the Mason Fine Arts center, but was soon relieved once met by so many super friendly women outside. I am so grateful for all of the friendships that were made in those 12 hours! In all honesty it has been hard building a strong tribe of women here in LA for me. So to arrive in an unfamiliar city not knowing a soul, and then leaving with a handful of new friends was so up lifting and encouraging.
A main topic of the day was transparency and authenticity.
It’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing and not staying true to yourself in the world of blogging and social media. It made me realize that being vulnerable is not only ok, but celebrated. Life doesn’t have to “appear,” perfect all of the time. While I know it’s still important to stay “on brand” it’s even more important to be real with you guys. I don’t want to only share the highs of my life without acknowledging the low points that have helped shape the person I am today. After all, the low points have only made me stronger! So in short The Cult of She is about to get made real 😉
I highly recommend attending this conference if you work in the digital space, are looking to network, or need a little direction to keep focused on your goals.
I’ve rounded up my favorite quotes from Create & Cultivate below. Also, I will start sharing more blogging tips and tricks in the coming weeks!

Beauty routine for a hectic weekend
I literally hopped on a plane Friday afternoon, landed in Atlanta at midnight and was non stop on the go after that. Not looking exhausted was key in my beauty routine last weekend. Along with keeping my skin hydrated I needed an antiperspirant that was going to hold up to the Atlanta heat! The night before I left I used GlamGlow to give my skin a deep exfoliating treatment before flying. Once I was settled into my room in Atlanta I used Estee Lauder’s recovery mask to instantly plump up my skin thanks to hyaluronic acid. As far as my antiperspirant of choice goes I’ve partnered with Dove and have fallen in love with their Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant. It goes on instantly dry and provides 48 hours of odor and wetness protection with all the care of Dove for softer, smoother underarms.
