So much of how productive my day will be is based on how my morning starts off. This year I’ve really been focusing on sticking to a morning routine to make everything go a little more seamless in the early hours of the day. If you’re on unsure how to start your day off right, or don’t really know where to being when planning your morning ritual keep reading! This post is for you!

How to start your day off right

How to start your day off right in five easy steps!

Step 1: Avoid the one eyed scroll

This was probably my toughest habit to break this year when setting into a morning routine. Literally each morning I’d wake up and grab my phone from my night stand and start with the one eyed scroll. Unfamiliar with the one eyed scroll? It’s that I just opened my eyes, but my phones to bright so I’ll scroll through my Instagram with one eyed open routine. Ring any bells? Trust me when I say this, YOU’RE NOT MISSING ANYTHING! The morning is you time, not phone time. The emails can wait, the DM’s can wait, and the texts can wait.

Step 2: Start your morning off being grateful

Attitude of gratitude is a must if you want to be successful in life. Even being thankful for the smallest thing can change how you perceive life at this moment. If you don’t have a journal or notepad on your nightstand, or don’t have a nightstand, no problem. Say it out loud, under your breathe, or in your head. Just say it. Begin the sentences like this: “I am so happy and grateful now that I am…” Watch your attitude and peace of mine change.

Step 3: Dry Brushing

I’d just like to give a quick shoutout to Gwyneth Paltrow for getting me on the Dry Brushing train. I had no idea it had so many benefits before reading about it on Goop! From boosting circulation, stimulating the lymph nodes, improving digestion, and improving the appearance of cellulite this is a morning ritual you need to include! Start your day off right by treating your body right with a dry brush!

Step 4: Take your daily multi vitamin!

Now to be honest I’ve never been a huge fan of taking vitamins, mainly because I am really not great with pills. Enter Nature Made® Multi for Her plus Omega-3s Adult Gummies. Gummies for adults!? Yes please! Since I work crazy hours and am pretty much always on the go, it’s hard for me to keep track of my daily vitamin intake if I’m solely relying on food. The Nature Made® Multi for Her Omega-3s Adult Gummies make it easy for me to receive the daily nutritional support of a multivitamin. What’s even better? They taste amazing! On top of that I get 60 mg of heart-healthy EPA and DHA omega-3s from fish oil, per serving. It’s a win-win. Nature Made® tests its gummies for purity and potency so you get the added assurance that it has the nutrients you’re seeking. Finally, a gummy you can trust.

I think by now everyone knows I’m obsessed with Walmart, which is obviously where I went to buy my vitamins. Purchase your Nature Made® Multi for Her plus Omega-3s Adult Gummies in store or onlne by clicking HERE.

Step 5: Don’t check your emails until after your first coffee!

This is a game changer, for real. This goes hand in hand with avoiding the one eyed scroll. Wait until you’ve finished your first cup of coffee until you dive into your emails. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve replied to emails half asleep, later realizing all of my spelling mistakes when I check my sent folder. Give yourself some time to wake up before you put yourself in work mode!

I’m not a coffee drinker but I am guilty of checking my emails before I even roll out of bed. It is such a habit and part of my routine now. I need to get better about not letting myself get sucked into starting my work day before I’m awake. ~client
