Is there anything better than a Prosecco Spritz on Sunday?
If your answer is no, then you are correct. Add in the Manhattan skyline, a blanket to go along with your Prosecco and you have yourself a perfect Sunday set up.
Instead of trying to get into an overly-hyped Sunday late lunch spot, we opted to head outdoors to watch the sunset! We rarely(and by rarely I mean never) go to Long Island City and thought we’d try something new! Yes it was busy, but not Central Park busy, and you can’t beat the view!
While the recipe for a Spritz is simple, what matters most are the ingredients. We went with an Aperol Spritz since I knew Riondo Prosecco would pair so well with Aperol.
So why did I go with Riondo Prosecco as my pick? One, because it happens to be an authentic Italian sparkling wine. Two, because it’s the #1 Prosecco in Italy. Three, because the crisp and clean finish pairs so nice with Aperol. It’s also SO convenient that it has a screw top closure! It makes it so much easier to bring back from a picnic.
